HARRISON, N.J. (AP) - Mike Grella scored early in the second half after a Chicago turnover and the New York Red Bulls beat the Fire 1-0 on Wednesday night for their third win in five games.

Luis Robles posted his second shutout of the season in making his MLS record-tying 118th consecutive start.

Grella scored in the 58th minute after Lloyd Sam forced Chicago defender Jonathan Campbell to make a weak back pass toward his goal. Bradley Wright-Phillips intercepted the ball, laid off a pass to Lloyd, who found Grella coming down the middle for his team-high fourth goal on a shot past goalkeeper Sean Johnson.

After a 1-6 start, the Red Bulls are 3-1-1. Chicago (1-5-4) has three straight losses and is winless in six games (0-4-2). The Fire have been shut out the last two games and four times this season.

NEW YORK CITY FC 1, TORONTO FC 1, TIE

TORONTO (AP) - Kwadwo Poku scored to help New York City FC tie Toronto FC.

Poku opened the scoring in the 16th minute for NYCFC (4-3-5). The second-year New York team extended its club-record unbeaten streak to five games, but had its record-tying winning run end at three.

Johnson scored for Toronto (4-4-3) in the 42nd minute. He has 27 goals in 200 MLS games.

Toronto star Sebastian Giovinco was involved in the buildup, but did not get an assist, ending his streak of being involved in consecutive TFC goals at an MLS-record 13 (scoring eight and assisting on the other five).
