Participating downtown Libertyville businesses invite the community to its 12th annual wine-stasting event from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18.

A $30 ticket includes a commemorative wineglass, $10 merchant coupon redeemable at Let's Wine About Winter participating merchants valid through April 30, wine tasting, a shopping bag filled with coupons, and a day of shopping and fun. Wineglasses can be purchased online only at www.mainstreetlibertyville.org/lwaw beginning at noon Tuesday, Jan. 31. Quantities are limited and are expected to sell out.

No ticket sales will be available the day of the event. Tickets are nonrefundable. The distribution sites for glass pick up in Libertyville are Mischief's Brewing, 725 N. Milwaukee Ave.; Curtis Frame/Back Alley Gallery, 543 N. Milwaukee Ave.; Petranek's Pharmacy, 426 N. Milwaukee Ave.; and Christine Anne Couture, 324 N. "What better way to brush off the winter blues than wine, food, and shopping with friends?" said Maureen Hunt, co-chair of Let's Wine About Winter. "We love this event because each year we see old friends and meet new neighbors out enjoying the wonderful shops and restaurants that downtown Libertyville has to offer. A great time is had by all."

Free parking is available at the Lake Street and Church Street covered parking garages. The Metra station is also in the heart of the downtown Libertyville, near participating stores and restaurants.
