Ella's Friends to host book sale Oct. 6-8 in Hampshire
Ella's Friends, the support group for the Ella Johnson Library in Hampshire, will be holding its annual book sale on Oct. 6-8.
The sale will be held at the Prairie View Garden Center, 48W130 Route 72 in Hampshire. Hours for the sale are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
On Sunday, Oct. 8, there will be a bag sale, $5 for a grocery bag of items.
On sale will be books in many categories, DVDs, CDs, LP records, audio books and puzzles, most priced at $1. Children's books are 50 cents.
To date, Ella's Friends has raised more than $25,000 from its various fundraising activities to pay for items and programs not included in the library's regular budget.

Ella's Friends is comprised of dedicated local volunteers who help to raise funds to support library services and staff.
Regular meetings of the group are on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the library, 109 S. State St. in Hampshire.
