Chicago Northwest Restaurant Week set to start Feb. 18

One of the smartest networking tips that I ever heard was to "never eat lunch alone." Meet Chicago Northwest is again offering a program that makes this easier.

Chicago Northwest Restaurant Week 2016, created in partnership with local restaurants, presents a selection of 40 area dining establishments all offering exclusive, affordably-priced, three-course prix fixe lunch and dinner menus. Each week offers five great lunch opportunities for you to expand your network of connections.

During the past two years, the Meet Chicago Northwest team received a lot of great feedback from diners about their restaurant week experiences. One that really caught my attention was the theme of Restaurant Week Dine Arounds, where folks got together to enjoy each other's company at many of the dining destinations.

This is why I recommend the upcoming Chicago Northwest Restaurant Week as a great opportunity for you to grow your contact list and have some fun. You might even find a new dining spot.

We are very excited to announce that our popular Chicago Northwest Restaurant Week is returning for its third year Feb. 18 to 28.

The annual event, geared to promote the Chicago Northwest suburban region as a dining destination for visitors and to encourage local diners to add another restaurant to their dining favorite list, is expected to have more than 30 dine-in restaurants participating.

In 2015, participating restaurants reported serving more than 5,000 restaurant meals during the week, supporting hospitality jobs during a traditionally quieter time of year.

To encourage new patrons, participating restaurants are offering special fixed priced three-course lunch and or dinner menus.

Based on the participating restaurant, the lunch price points are $10 or $20. Dinner promotions are priced at $20, $30 or $40 depending on location. To find a complete list of participating restaurant and their offers visit www.dinechicagonw.com.

To my friends in the business community, I encourage you take this great opportunity to have some fun, strengthen your network of influence and support some local jobs, too.
