Gail Borden Public Library to host Preschool Information Fair Jan. 12

Parents can receive help in deciding where their child will attend preschool at Gail Borden Library's Preschool Information Fair on Thursday, Jan. 12.

It will be from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Meadows Community Rooms ABC at the Main Library, 270 N. Grove Ave. in downtown Elgin.

Representatives from area preschools, day care centers and licensed homes will be available to talk about their child-care services and answer questions.

Along with free giveaways, attendees will receive a packet about each of the 19 participating centers with information that indicates if each center offers after-school care, disability services, sliding scale funding and more.

Attendees who visit five or more preschool or day care booths will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $10 Target gift card.

No registration is necessary to attend the information fair.
