Nine local eateries join Batavia's Cocktails in the Park July 22

Join Batavia MainStreet for their annual "Cocktails in the Park" fundraiser on Saturday, July 22, from 7 to 10 p.m. at Appleton Park.

It's the largest single fundraiser for the nonprofit organization.

As advocates for the downtown business community, MainStreet staff and volunteers work to keep the local economy vibrant, assist in marketing and promotions, and operate the Batavia Farmers' Market, Artisan Collective, and Batavia Boardwalk Shops.

Entry tickets for the event are $40 in advance and can be purchased at downtownbatavia.com through noon on Friday, July 21.

Tickets can also be purchased at the door the night of the event for $45. Tickets include small plates from downtown restaurants, a collectible whiskey glass (first come, first served), live music and entry to the event.

Drink tickets are also available online or can be purchased at the event, prices are $7 for one or $60 for 10.

Attendees can purchase a "Picnic Table" package which includes a reserved picnic table, six admission tickets, six drink tickets, and a dedicated cocktail server for $350.

All appetizers are included in the ticket price. There will be beer from Sturdy Shelter Brewing, wine from Geneva Winery, and mocktails from The Blarney Rose. The bar menu includes: Big Woods Old Fashion, Local Lemon Drop, MainStreet Mule, and First Street Frose.

The appetizer restaurant menu features: caprese skewers from Bar Evolution; lentil salad from Bocaditos Cafe; mini croissant with chicken salad from Chicken Salad Chick; BBQ pork sliders from Gammon Coach House; goat burger sliders from The GOAT; thin-crust pizza from Pal Joey's; crab rangoon and pot stickers from Thai Village; arancini from Windmill Grille & Pizzeria; and cookies and raspberry shortbread bars from Haylie B's Bakery.
