Seminoles women's soccer coach Kirkorian signs new contract
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Florida State announced on Tuesday that women's soccer coach Mark Krikorian has signed a new contract that will keep him at the school through 2020.
Krikorian is heading into his 12th season with the program and has led the Seminoles to the College Cup eight times, including appearances the past five years. Florida State won the national championship in 2014.
The new contract will pay Krikorian a base salary of $225,000 per year and guaranteed supplemental compensation that starts at $100,000 in 2016 and escalates to a maximum of $225,000 in the final year of the contract. Krikorian's previous contract, which was signed in 2014 and went until 2017, had a base salary of $200,000 and supplemental compensation that started at $55,000 and escalated to $100,000 the final two years.
