Advocate Condell kicks off its annual giving campaign

Advocate Condell has kicked off its annual Associate Giving Campaign, which runs throughout the month of June. Last year's campaign raised more than $59,000 for Condell clinical programs, caregiver education and outreach initiatives.

Among other programs, the campaign helps to fund Advocate Condell's Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program, which provides a specially trained SANE nurse on-call around the clock to aid survivors of sexual assault. Advocate Condell is the only hospital in Lake County to provide this service to the community.

The campaign also offers Associates the opportunity to donate to community agencies, such as the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and the United Way. Last year, Condell Associates gave over $5,000 to these community organizations.

“We are so proud of the history of support we've received from the communities we serve,” said Rob Barto, Vice President of Development at Advocate Condell Medical Center. “Even though in June we focus on our Associate Giving Campaign, we like to remind the community at large that they can also give to Condell at any time. Our Associates see the impact of donations in many of their areas every day, which is why they are enthusiastic about giving back.”
