Two exhibits on parade

The Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art at the College of Lake County hosts a reception for two of its new exhibits — “Bihn Pho: Woodturner” and “Teapots: An Invitational.” “Bihn Pho: Woodturner” which runs through Sunday, April 10, features wood-turned vessels by noted Vietnamese-born artist Bihn Pho. “Teapots: An Invitational” runs through Tuesday, April 19, displays 36 interpretations of the teapot from contemporary ceramic artists in the United States. Opening reception runs 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at the College of Lake County's Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake. Free admission. Exhibit hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fridays; 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturdays; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Guests can view the club's HO scale permanent operating model railroad in a 30-by-60-foot room, occupying more than 1,500 square feet.
