CASA-McHenry County hosts Road Rally Scavenger Hunt April 23
On Saturday, April 23, CASA of McHenry County will host a Road Rally Scavenger Hunt.
The course begins at CASA, 630 N. Route 31 in Crystal Lake. The cost is $35 per car.
With varied starts throughout the day, you can pick from the earliest start time at 10 a.m. to the latest start time at 1 p.m.
The route takes 1½ to 2 hours to complete.
There will be live music, food, raffle prizes, and games at the finish line. This event is open to the public.
CASAs (Court Appointed Special Advocates) give children in the foster care system a voice.
The trained volunteers at CASA advocate for the children's best interests when they are in court and speak on the child's behalf. Advocates change children's lives. Children with an appointed CASA volunteer are more likely to graduate high school and less likely to be incarcerated, among other protective factors.
CASA of McHenry County was founded in 2005, and is a member of the Illinois CASA Association and the National CASA Association.
