Geneva, Batavia both win

Geneva 74, Larkin 53: Senior Allison Wright collected a game-high 18 points to help the host Vikings remain undefeated in Upstate Eight River division play.

Geneva (20-4, 10-0) exploded for 34 points in the second quarter to seize a 48-24 halftime advantage. Kelly Gordon added 11 points for the Vikings and Morgan Seberger finished with 10.

Sophomore Victoria Patterson tallied 10 points and Paris Patterson added 9 for Larkin (3-19, 0-9).

Batavia 53, Elgin 34: The visiting Bulldogs broke out to an 18-6 first quarter lead and rolled to an Upstate Eight River triumph.

Junior Sami Villarreal recorded a team-high 12 points and Tamar Norville added 9 points for Batavia (12-10, 5-4), which has won five of its last six.

Briana Hamilton posted a game-high 17 points for the Royals (1-21, 1-8).
