Some parents experience disputes over their visitation schedules and would benefit by having a better understanding of how police departments and mediators can assist in these situations.

Deputy Chief Mark Wodka of the Hinsdale Police Department and Paula Brown, mediator, will present on “Visitation Interference and the Law”. Currently, Ms. Brown is serving as Vice President of the Mediation Council of Illinois. Ms. Brown will address "going to the courthouse" to enforce parenting visitation schedules and possible outcomes.

Chairman and founder of the Children' Right's Council of Illinois, Mike Doherty, will be at this workshop to answer questions about reforms underway to Visitation Interference statutes.
