Should freight terminal be allowed at Wheeling business?

Wheeling's plan commission will meet Wednesday to discuss a request to allow a truck freight terminal at DVS Warehouse & Storage, 92 Messner Drive, as well as other business.

The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at village hall, 2 Community Blvd.

DVS has operated at the site since 2019, but it did so without a business license, village documents show. During a review of DVS's license application, village employees determined permission is needed for a freight terminal before a license is granted, documents show.
