The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on Dec. 15 to celebrate the grand opening of Allure Pelvic Wellness, located at 21660 W Field Pkwy. in Deer Park. Ribbon-cutting attendees included (l-r): Suzanne Corr (Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce); Monique Libreros (Illinois Pain and Spine Institute); Rocky Ephraim and Dr. Sonya Ephraim (Allure Pelvic Wellness); Bill Collingbourne (Edward Jones); Steve Wilson (CBIZ, Inc.); Akim Ephraim, Sherry Ephraim and Lynn Youngblood (Allure Pelvic Wellness); and Doug McAllister (Douglas Auto).
The Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce, Village President Kevin Wallace, village trustees and Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison welcomed Closets by Design, 802 E. Devon Ave., Bartlett, to the community in a grand opening celebration on Dec. 14. The ribbon was cut by owners Jamie Trewartha and Paul Paluch, surrounded by employees, chamber members and friends. Geneva Chamber of Commerce's Geneva Women in Business held their annual end of year holiday luncheon on Dec. 20 at Riverside Receptions in Geneva. Through donations received, with the extremely successful raffle, GWIB was able to donate over $3,000 to Rising Lights Project, which was the December charity chosen by GWIB. Founder, Jaimie Valentini, accepted the donation from GWIB President Kelly Vass. Rising Lights Project is a registered 501(3)(c) dedicated to creating environments for individuals impacted by disability to learn, laugh, thrive and engage with the Fox Valley Community.
Vasco's Peri Peri held a ribbon cutting celebrating two years in its space. Joining the celebration were village of Schaumburg President Tom Dailly with trustee George Dunahm, Schaumburg Business Association board members Matt Frank and Heather Larson, SBA Ambassadors Brandon Cork and Jim Idstein, alongside several SBA Members. It is located at 927 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.
