White was recently chosen to be on the cover of Elgin Community College's Inspire magazine and has been included as part of a special publication in the national magazine "The Welder" along with three other women. She has excelled in the field and is currently employed with JN Machinery in East Dundee. White is still pursuing her education and has gone back to gain her Associates in Applied Science in Welding Fabrication Technology.

"We look forward to meeting Taryn and to hear about her amazing journey of choosing the trades as a profession and what a difference the choice has made for her and her family," said Ann Louis, who continues in her second term as 2019-20 WIM Fox Valley president. "There are many opportunities for women in nontraditional professional roles."

Louis, a Campton Hills resident, owns Louis Consulting Inc. in Elgin. She adds, "Our upcoming speakers and programs again bring top level topics and expertise to our membership. We welcome business women in the community to join us, network, and make new community connections."
