Mihalec has energy for county board

I first met Jeanette Mihalec 12 years ago when she was running for a position as trustee on the Elgin Community College board. I was totally impressed with her endless energy and high ethical standards.

Jeanette quickly proved herself a valuable asset to the board over her tenure. Her ability to dig into a problem and then provide a solution to the problem was a great input to the board. Since that time I have had the pleasure to serve on several boards and committees with Jeanette and have discovered that her work ethics and insight are beyond approach. Because of Jeanette's financial background she has an excellent understanding of how a business or board should be operated.

Jeanette has served on numerous community boards and is currently active in Kiwanis, Elgin Hispanic Network, New Citizens Recognition Committee, NAMI of Kane County, and other community projects. Jeanette truly has her finger on the pulse of the community, which provides her the knowledge that is needed.

Jeanette is currently running for the Kane County Board from District 18. It is because of her long standing commitment to the community, along with her knowledge, experience, high energy level and dedication that she would make an excellent member of the Kane County Board.
