Keck has experience qualifications for job

With the crisis in leadership we're seeing in Springfield and in Washington, it's nice to know that there still is one government out there that's living within its means: Kane County.

That's why I'm writing to urge my fellow voters to re-elect Bill Keck, CPA, as our Kane County Auditor. Bill has almost four decades of experience as a CPA and for the past 12 years has been serving as independent watchdog for county government spending. Thanks to Bill's oversight, not only has the county stayed on budget, but the taxpayers have saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in unnecessary spending.

Bill's opponent is a one-term Elgin city councilman who was rejected by Elgin voters in his quest for a second term. He is not even a CPA and now he wants to oversee how your county tax dollars are spent.

That's not a chance Elgin voters would take twice, and we should not either.
