Coladipietro gets second term in state House

Bloomingdale attorney Franco Coladipietro is heading back to Springfield with the stated belief that "government should live within its means."

Voters on Tuesday appeared to give the Republican incumbent in the 45th House District a second term.

With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, unofficial results showed Coladipietro with 53 percent of the vote and Democratic challenger Jim Hagerty, with 47 percent.

Hagerty is a retired sheet metal worker who lives in Roselle.
