District 34 looking for input:

The Antioch Elementary District 34 school board has launched its search for a new superintendent. The board has partnered with School Exec Connect to assist in finding candidates. School officials are inviting community members to take the superintendent search survey at the district's Web site, antioch34.com. The survey answers will help the board determine the most desired profile, officials say. The survey will be available until Oct. 15. The board plans to name a superintendent no later than late January or early February, 2010.

He said it's the first time for such an effort at Grayslake North. He said the vehicle on display to illustrate the dangers of teen drinking and driving was involved in a DUI crash somewhere other than Grayslake.
