Harney unmatched for Dundee supervisor After reviewing information from the League of Women Voters candidates' forum for Dundee Township Supervisor, my belief that Sue Harney is by far the best candidate for the position was more than validated. Sue stands head and shoulders above her opponents. Not only was she instrumental in getting the Open Space plan passed in the first place, but her knowledge, her experience and her passion for conservation are unmatched.

While her opponents should be applauded for wanting to serve, they need to pay their dues and gain some experience before seeking the top seat. Both have little knowledge on the issues, and showed it through the untrue statements they made about the township budget, open space and how grant funding can be used. Rage is hypercritical of the way things are, yet offers no plausible solution. Griffin claims she can "learn on the job" and offers community groups and being a mom as her qualifications. It's like Sarah Palin all over again.

As a taxpayer, I feel lucky to have such a highly qualified and dedicated candidate as Sue Harney to vote for, and I hope others will vote for her as well on Feb. 24.
