Kirk hiding from Seals, voters

Mark Kirk has done it again. As he did in 2006, he has agreed to hold just one debate with Dan Seals despite Seals' request for several more.

Kirk does the voters of the 10th District a disservice by limiting their ability to hear both candidates' views on the very important issues facing our country and the district. How many voters from Palatine or Gurnee or Waukegan traveled to Deerfield to listen to the candidates? Debates should have been scheduled in every corner of the district.

In 2006 Kirk used the excuse that his Congressional responsibilities precluded more than one debate. What about the August Congressional recess? What about other weekends when Kirk is usually in the district? What about other dates in October when Congress will probably be in recess?

Apparently Kirk can run and at the same time hide.
