Get bike checked at Huntley rodeo

The Huntley Police Department and Citizens' Police Academy Alumni Association will be hosting the bike rodeo from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 30.

The rodeo is designed for children of all ages to have their bikes registered and inspected while their riding skills are tested at various stations, here in the Huntley Area Public Library's parking lot, 1100 Ruth Road, Huntley.

There will be snacks provided and the Sun City CyclePaths Bicycle Club has donated several youth-sized bike helmets for participants to win in a prize drawing.

Register now for the bike rodeo by visiting the library's children's room desk or by calling (847) 669-5386, ext. 26.

Unless otherwise stated, all programs are free and require registration. Some programs may take place at a location other than the library. Check program description for location. For information about the library, programs or events, visit the Web at www.huntleylibrary.org or call at (847) 669-5386.
