Free COVID-19 testing Jan. 4-9 in Mundelein, Antioch and Round Lake
An Illinois Department of Public Health mobile testing facility will make stops in Mundelein, Antioch and Round Lake to provide free COVID-19 testing.
The facility will be at Mundelein High School, 1350 W. Hawley St. in Mundelein, Monday, Jan 4; Williams Park, 400 Williams St. in Antioch, Friday, Jan. 8; and Round Lake High School, 800 High School Drive in Round Lake, Saturday, Jan. 9. Testing will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at all three locations.
Testing is free and open to all regardless of symptoms. A phone number and name are required in order to receive testing results. Photo identification and proof of insurance are helpful, but not required.
Those wishing to be tested should expect long wait times due to high demand. Testing locations may close early due to inclement weather or if daily testing supplies are exhausted.
Those utilizing drive-through testing must be seated at a functioning window. Once you get in line at the site, you will not be permitted to exit your car. All sites will also accommodate walk-up testing for individuals who do not have a vehicle. Only viral testing is provided at the mobile testing site.
