St. Charles Chamber getting new name, logo
The St. Charles Chamber of Commerce is changing its name to the St. Charles Area Chamber of Commerce to better reflect the communities it serves.
The Chamber's service area includes not only the city of St. Charles, but also St. Charles Township and the surrounding communities within St. Charles Unit District 303, including Campton Hills.
"Our primary market is all of the communities served by School District 303," St. Charles Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Jim Di Ciaula said. "And in addition, we have businesses outside of that area and we're all about supporting our local businesses."
In conjunction with its new name, the organization also has a new logo that was designed by creative design firm Addelise, which is a member of the St. Charles Chamber.
"Addelise is honored to have worked with the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce on the modernization of their logo design," Addelise President Tanya Smith and Addelise Creative Director Jessica Dempsey said in a news release. "We enjoyed working with their progressive team to bring the brand vision to life as they step into celebrating 100 years. The new logo is modern, clean and follows the mission of forward thinking and growth. We are proud to be members of the Chamber and a part of this project. Cheers to the next 100 years."
The St. Charles Chamber, which was founded in 1922, is about to celebrate its 100th anniversary. The St. Charles Chamber recently moved its offices to a new location in the Tyler & 64 Business Park at the southwest corner of Main Street and Tyler Road.
"It's a wonderful location," Di Ciaula said. "It's got all the modern amenities and the layout is great."
The St. Charles Chamber of Chamber's previous location at 216 Riverside Ave. has been sold and will be part of the continued redevelopment activity which is occurring on the east side of the Fox River.
