With Good Humor: Wesley Child Care Center preschoolers celebrate Halloween in Glenview

The preschoolers at Wesley Child Care Center have enjoyed celebrating the many wonders of fall. The highlights of the season included a Halloween reverse parade and in-house trick-or-treating. In staying with the theme, children decorated their own light-up haunted houses, carved class pumpkins, painted individual pumpkins, practiced their dance moves to "Monster Mash," and made several art projects, such as spider webs, skeletons, witch's brew, bird feeders and pumpkin sun catchers. But activities didn't stop there: Children played pumpkin hunt, "there's a spider on your head," hot pumpkin, "we are mummies" and musical chairs! The celebration safely brought a week of fun and smiles to the children, families and staff.
