Chords for Kids concert returning to North Central College

After two years of cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chords for Kids concert returns for its 15th edition Saturday at North Central College in Naperville.

With the motto of "Wiggles Welcome," the free event encourages children with special needs to be themselves while listening to music from SpongeBob SquarePants and Disney in addition to classics like "YMCA" and "The Chicken Dance."

Professor of Music Larry Van Oyen will conduct the concert that begins at 7 p.m. at Wentz Concert Hall at 171 E. Chicago Ave. just east of downtown Naperville.

The free tickets can be reserved online at the North Central College website, or by calling the ticket office at (630) 637-SHOW.

Picture taking is welcome and wheelchair seating is available. Masks will be required regardless of vaccination status.
