Divers pull submerged car from pond in Mount Prospect

Mount Prospect fire department divers helped pull a submerged car from a pond Friday night in the 1660 block of South Elmhurst Road.

At 7:17 p.m., police responded to a report of a vehicle entering a pond.

A woman who fire officials identified as the driver was taken to a hospital for evaluation. She had escaped the vehicle before first responders arrived.
