Free Woodfield Trolley service begins holiday hours
Beginning Friday and continuing through New Year's Day, the free Woodfield Trolley service in Schaumburg will have extended holiday hours.
The trolleys connect several locations around Woodfield Mall. They will operate from noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
They will arrive at each stop every half-hour on weekdays and Sundays and every 20 minutes on Saturdays. Plan to arrive at the stop 5 to 10 minutes before departure.
The stops include the west side of the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel; the flag stop at the Roosevelt University campus; IKEA Schaumburg; along Walter Payton Drive at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Chicago; in front of Marshalls at Woodfield Village Green; the lower level near JCPenney at Woodfield Mall; the north entrance of Dick's Sporting Goods at Streets of Woodfield; on Center Drive at Streets of Woodfield; the AMC Theatres at Streets of Woodfield; and the Pace Bus Northwest Transportation Center.
