Walnut Greens Golf Course is now open

Dust off the clubs and meet new friends at Walnut Greens Golf Course.

Walnut Greens Golf Course, 1150 N. Walnut Lane, opened for the season on April 2 and will host men's and women's golf leagues May through August.

Participants will play nine holes and compete in a weekly contest on one of the finest par 3 golf courses in the northwest suburbs. The course offers a 30-acre lake and features bent grass greens, bluegrass fairways, a putting green, leagues, lessons, special events and an on-site golf pro.

"Whether you're a pro or new to the game, this course is ideal for golfers of all skill levels," said Jonathan Parsons, general manager of golf operations. "Registration for adult leagues is now open, so grab a friend and come join us on the green."

Schaumburg Golf Club, the district's 27-hole course, will offer co-rec weeknight and weekend adult golf clinics April through July.
