Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club Announces 2nd Annual North Shore Wine Tasting

Libertyville, IL, August 28, 2021:

The Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club recently announced it will be presenting the 2nd Annual North Shore Wine Tasting benefitting local charities. Club President Rich Schoeneman invites community members to "fall in love with delicious wines and support local charities as we jump into autumn this year! A wonderful mix of reds and whites will ensure there is something available for every palette." Seven wine distributors will offer a unique selection of approximately 100 wines available for tasting and ordering.

Presented in cooperation with Main Street Social, the event will be hosted outdoors at the restaurant's tent located at 608 N. Milwaukee Avenue in downtown Libertyville. The event will be offered on two dates, October 2nd and October 9th. Tasting will begin at 2:30 pm and conclude at 4:30 pm, with attendance limited to 125 people. The cost to attend the event is $150 per single ticket or two tickets for $200. The ticket price includes a $75 credit which can be applied to bottled wine orders.

The event will feature a 50/50 Raffle, benefitting Equestrian Connection. Equestrian Connection is an accessible provider of equine-assisted therapy programs and services for special needs children and adults. The Lake Forest organization is celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2021. Raffle tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100. Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club President Rich Schoeneman added, "Amidst the uncertainties of 2021, there are still some things that remain certain. One of them is that the Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club will do what it can to continue its fundraising efforts and support local organizations in the community. The club was founded in 1987 and since then has provided over $2 million in grants to local, regional and international groups incorporating Rotary's motto of Service Above Self."
