US Air Force honors Packages 4 Patriots’ second anniversary

An American flag was flown in an MC-12W over Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, to honor the second anniversary of Packages 4 Patriots, a mission of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit.

Maj. Gregory A. Wyant, Mission Commander, expressed gratitude for Packages 4 Patriots’ care packages and support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Retired Pastor Marcia Strahl, a member of Christus Victor Lutheran Church and Chaplain of the Civil Air Patrol, holding the rank of lieutenant colonel, presented the flag and certificate at the second anniversary packing event on June 19.
